Concert Ensemble Currende Nassogne 22/7 Suite au succès du concert avec l’Ensemble Currende dans la Collégiale de Nassogne plusieurs spectateurs ont voulu acheter des CD de l’ensemble alors que la personne qui s’en chargeait avait vendu tous les CD après 15’. Currende sings the Responsoria with emotion and full of passion. To keep the touching harmonic aspects of Gesualdo’s music over the full length of the program an instrumental ensemble of 3 viols and 2 BANDONIONS (!) plays some of Gesualdo’s madrigals in between the different parts of the Responsoria. It is highly surprising how the sound of the two groups of instruments interfere each other. This is Currende’s way to commemorate the four-hundredth anniversary of Gesualdo’s death. Disposition: 10 singers (whereof 5 soloists), 3 viols, 2 bandonions.
